Goalpost was originally devised to assist myself in speaking
Spanish. My name is Sahlan Diver, and I am an internationally shortlisted and longlisted author of mystery novels.
Having made much effort to learn Spanish online, I experienced continual frustration with my inability to master
basic conversation when in Spain.
I realised the problem was lack of opportunity to practise. Conventional courses don't give you this, because their
fixed repetitive audio quickly becomes predictable.
What I needed was an app which could create phrases randomly, giving me plenty of practice in the unpredictably of live conversation. This was the basic
idea that led to the creation of the Goalpost app.
